Emmanuel Church, founded in 1895 is located in Bethlehem, a city in Northampton and Lehigh Counties in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, Bethlehem had a total population of 75,781, making it the second-largest city in the Lehigh Valley after Allentown and the seventh-largest city in the state. The church is located at 75 East Union Boulevard in a mix of rental and single-family homes, mostly working class, with elementary schools and a high school in the vicinity as well as small restaurants and small businesses. They have inner city diversity but are also close to the downtown Bethlehem shopping district. They average 25-35 in person on Sunday mornings with another 15-20 joining in on their livestream platform.
Their vision is to support the ministries that reach families and children in the area through shared school and daycare ministries and to personally reach their circle of friends, neighbors and relatives. The goal is to share all that they have to bless each other’s work.
