::General Information
The Evangelical Congregational Church Benefits Corporation is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Purpose: to administer pension, health insurance, disability income fund, and related funds for the Ministers and career Missionaries of the E.C. Church.
- Members of the Corporation - the most recently elected regular and lay delegates of the National Conference, as well as, any Trustee who is not a regular delegate to National Conference.
- Corporation Meetings - the regular meeting of the Corporation is held at the annual session of the National Conference.
- Officers of the Corporation are elected by the Trustees. The Corporation operates with a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The officers constitute the Executive Committee of the Corporation.
- Board of Trustees
- Purpose - to conduct the business of the Corporation by designing, initiating, and administering the programs as defined by the By-Laws of the Corporation.
- Members - there are 15 elected Trustees (9 Lay and 6 Ministers), all must be members of the Evangelical Congregational Church. The Trustees are elected by the members of the Corporation.
- Meetings - the Trustees must meet at least twice a year.
